Greetings, pet parents! My name is Sophia and I am the sole pet care provider for Perky Pet.

I've loved dog walking and pet sitting since I was a little girl; my first jobs were as a veterinary assistant and animal shelter supervisor. I am certified in Cat & Dog First Aid and CPR, and I pride myself on my successful relationships with pets of all personalities. I strive to never stop learning every day through new adventures and continuing education. I have a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on wildlife management, a master's degree in sustainability, and a heart full of unconditional love for every living thing.

I am a lifelong advocate for animal rights and force free animal caretaking. Perky Pet's caretaking aspires to align with "Fear Free" positive reinforcement methods, to ensure the long term mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing of the pets in my care.

When I am not completely focused on my clients' precious pets, my favorite pastimes are singing, puzzling, and adventuring with my husband & our two incredible rescue dogs.
